Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
